Güral Elektrik High Voltage Labs





   Güral Elektrik High Voltage Lab is founded in 1997 within our factory and is serving as a research center for our R&D program and other companies. The High Voltage Lab is available for customers to carry on dielectric tests necessary for the research, development and verification of the products.

   Our Lab devices are runing under accredidated laboratories' calibration and approval to ensure the correct verification of the values and to fulfill custumer demands.

The tests that are carried out in the High Voltage Lab are listed below.

  • Lightning Impulse Voltage Withstand Tests
    Tests are carried out at values between 15kV and 200kV, 1.2/50µs.
  • Power-Frequency Voltage Withstand Tests
    Tests are carried out at values between 1kV and 460kV for 1min, 50Hz.
  • Corona Tests
    Tests are carried out up to 460kV to determine the corona effect beginning voltage of equipment.
  • Partial Discharge Tests
    Tests are carried out up to 460kV to determine the partial discharges.
  • Measurement of reference voltage (U ref ) of surge arresters.
    Tests are carried out up to 460kV to determine the reference voltage of surge arresters at 1-20mA.

All tests listed above are performed and certified to meet the test requirements of relevant IEC standards.

   Güral Elektrik High Current Lab is founded in 1997 within our factory and is serving as a research center for our R&D program and other companies. The High Current Lab is available for customers to carry on high current tests necessary for the research, development and verification of the products.

   High Current Lab devices are runing under accredidated laboratories' calibration and approval to ensure the correct verification of the values and to fulfill custumer demands.

The tests that can be carried out in the High Current Lab are listed below.

  • Measurement of the resistance of the main circuit for switchgear.
    Measurement of the resistance of the main circuit tests are performed at DC tests circuits at 100A for device resistances up to 4m?.
  • Temperature – rise tests for switchgear.
    Temperature – rise tests can be carried out at 4000A AC for devices up to 20µ?, or proportional other values.
  • Measurement of DC resistance of HV current-limiting fuses.
    Measurement of DC resistance of HV fuses tests are performed at DC tests circuits up to 60?.
  • Measurement of minimum breaking current of current-limiting fuses.
    Measurement of minimum breaking current of HV fuses tests are performed at tests circuits up to 1000A.
  • Tests for time-current characteristics of HV current-limiting fuses.
    Measurement of time-current characteristics for current-limiting fuses with rated current 250A.
  • Temperature – rise tests and power-dissipation measurement for HV current-limiting fuses.
    Temperature – rise tests can be carried out at 250A AC for fuses up to 5m?, or proportional other values.
  • Residual voltage tests for surge arresters.
    Residual voltage tests are performed at max. 20kA, 8/20µS for surge arresters and metal oxide blocks.

All tests listed above are performed and certified to meet the test requirements of relevant IEC standards.  
         

Güral Elektrik Chemical Analysis Labs





   Güral Elektrik Chemical Analysis Lab is founded in 1997 within our factory and is serving as a research center for our R&D program and other companies. The Chemical Analysis Lab is studying samples in collaboration with the Mechanical Analysis Lab to perform plating thickness tests and is available for meeting customers requests.

   Chemical Analysis Lab devices are runing under accredidated laboratories' calibration and approval to ensure the correct verification of the values and to fulfill custumer demands.

The tests that can be carried out in the Chemical Analysis Lab are listed below.

  • Test of Withstand Force of HV Current-Limiting Fuses
  • Conductivity Measuring for Cu (Copper)
  • Plating Thickness Test for Ag (Silver) Platings, up to 50µm.
  • Plating Thickness Test for Zn (Zinc) Platings, up to 250µm. Zn plating thickness test can be performed by mobile devices supplied by the Lab.
  • Plating Thickness Test for Ni (Nickel) Platings, up to 80µm.

All tests listed above are performed and certified to meet relevant IEC- TSE Standards.
             

Güral Elektrik Mechanical Analysis Labs





   Güral Elektrik Mechanical Analysis Lab is founded in 2005 within within our factory and is serving as a research center for our R&D program and other companies. The Mechanical Analysis Lab is available for customers to carry on material hardness measurement tests necessary for the research, development and verification of the products.

   Mechanical Analysis Lab devices are runing under accredidated laboratories' calibration and approval to ensure the correct verification of the values and to fulfill custumer demands.

The tests that can be carried out in the Mechanical Analysis Labs are listed below.

  • Contact Force Measurement Tests , up to 2000N.
  • Rockwell Hardness Measurement Tests , available for samples with thickness 3mm to 100mm.
  • Brinell Hardness Measurement Tests , available for samples with thickness 1mm to 100mm.
  • Vickers Hardness Measurement Tests , available for samples with thickness 1mm to 100mm.
